Siskin

There is an area of Pittencrieff Park where birdfood is liberally scattered, attracting a wide variety of birds, whether or not they are interested in the grain, and which we stood watching for several minutes.
Apart from this Siskin there were all the Tits (Great, Blue, Coal and Long-tailed), Wood Pigeon, Blackbird, a fleeting visit from a Goldcrest and, indifferent to all these, a Treecreeper.
We managed to complete our walk and be safely installed in Tesco's cafe before the heavens opened and the day continued damp and dreary, as had been indicated by the bright red sunrise.
