The kitchen gantry

I'm not sure that when this gantry was installed, it was envisioned we would load it with such a weight of foodstuffs. It has already collapsed once (spectacularly, on Christmas day a few years ago, crashing down onto the turkey waiting to served).

As well as being handy to reach for things while cooking, it has the added advantage of keeping food away from the mice. As far as I know, the mice can neither fly nor levitate.
