Flower Friday :: FF03_2020 :: Christmas Box

AKA Sarcococca confusa or Sweet Box, an evergreen shrub that flowers between December and March. 

What you can't tell from the image is the powerful sweet scent this gives off. I have it planted in the front bed next to the public footway and driveway. Pedestrians and visitors will be hit by the smell which will linger as they walk by.

This will preform in my garden until the bulbs are ready to pop up.
