This afternoon we were at the annual New Year event at Allanton Peace Sanctuary. It was lovely to meet with friends old and new. As always, we held a flag ceremony, mentioning every country in the world. Afterwards, D and I went out walk by the peace poles in the sanctuary grounds. In the foreground are those for Iran and Iraq, which are at the forefront of world news just now.

As he always does, Uma had made a special plate of sushi (see extra) for 2020.
