New Year's Fireworks

I have made it a priority to be on the beach for New Year's fireworks every year since my arrival in Mexico nine years ago. That is a lot of late nights, but always worth the effort. Consequently I have a great many firework photos. This is by far one of my more boring ones, but I wanted to show the huge number of people crowding Zihua's main beach, Playa Principal. What it also shows is just how close everyone is able to get to action, there are people less than three meters from exploding mortars.
