Mahonia

Our last early morning to give Livvie her drugs! We had a bit of a lie-in after that.....

We decided on a quick walk to our local park in the afternoon when the sun was shining. The North Staffs Model Engineering Society were out in force, tinkering with their steam engines, as they have a miniature railway track at the park. There's also an aviary so we went to have a chat to the birds. it's all very evocative of a bygone era.

This striking Mahonia shrub was in full bloom in the middle of the park.
