My cake

So it's my friend's pop's retirement do tomorrow, I volunteered to make the cake! Here it is!

Its a topsy turvy cake! The bottom layer is vanilla and chocolate, when they cut into it, hopefully it will look like a checkers board.

The top cake is marbled properly, made with the same flavours, but chocolate chips too.

Then covered in a thin buttercream, followed by icing and decorated with more brightly coloured circles and icing balls!

My first proper cake, it's taken 48 hours, I'm shattered! Time for a rest!
