PURPLE IRIS UNQUICULARIS.

This plant seems to thrive on neglect and really awful soil. Its natural habitat is shaded rocky places and it’s got rather scruffy leaves and is growing in a congested clump. But I do like its purple flowers. It gives some colour to the garden before the snowdrops and Hellebore's bloom. It’s been a lovely sunny day but a bit windy. Mr. T’s just cut the climbing roses back and I’ve been cleaning the bird feeders out and putting fresh seed in. Enjoy the rest of your day. Blippers.
