An Artist in his studio

I visited Osian Gwent , a contemporary painter in oils , at  his studio in Llanidloes,  Mid Wales, and enjoyed his paintings including this one showing a discernible view from Abergavenny. He has a website bearing his name. 
He was painting several paintings in parallel partly due to the drying time of
oils....possibly?
