Killaloe

I reminded myself how lucky we are to live where we do today by taking a trip to Killaloe with Emily.
Killaloe and Ballina are twin towns that sit either end of an ancient bridge over the river Shannon, as it leaves Lough Derg. Previous visits have been during the summer when the tourists are choking up the place with their rented camper vans. It still feels odd that I'm no longer a visitor here...
