boro

Boro is a Japanese word for a kind of upcycling of old cloth into new and exciting things.  For this camera pouch, I'm using the purple from an old skirt, the red felt leftover from repairing my typewriter, and the blue fabric was a gift from Japan.  The stitch technique is sashiko, although henny penny says I'm sloppy and need a lot more practice

A Year With My Camera - this week is all about limits.  One of the exercises is to stick with one lens or within one limit and take a bunch of photographs.  Which is great because I've been obsessing over my new ef-m 22mm f2.  It helps the camera see the world that I see.

I've set it at f2 and aperture priority for the week to see what I can do.
