Parilla

Tenderloin, sausage, fries, salad, and condiments. Wine: Etchart Imagínate El Vino 2018.

We explored Palermo Soho, and since the wait at Don Julio was absurd, we ended up having lunch at a place called Lo de Jesús. This turned out to be quite felicitous. The meal was the best we’ve had on the trip, and the wine, a Malbec-Cabernet Sauvignon blend from Salta, is among the very best we’ve ever had and astonishing value (though it was the most expensive we’ve had on the trip at the equivalent of $18, which is pricy by local standards).
