Paddington

Today didn’t start well ... four items of furniture ordered back in October were due to be delivered today and I got an email reminder last week. I called up to enquire on the timings only to be be told that the whole delivery had been cancelled as one item was out of stock - furious doesn’t even come close. We’re here in London for this delivery but they don’t care about that and will offer us a new date, so will have to come back again. Have requested that they deliver the 3 items they do have ASAP but we won’t know until Monday if that’s possible.... grrrrrrr so flipping (insert stronger adjective here) annoying!

Late afternoon headed into London to meet up with our friend ... some laughs, fizz, Pinot & risotto were great to lift my disappointment and bad mood!

Paddington station, had dinner in Maida Vale and a stroll around Little Venice - lovely areas of London I’d never been to.
