"There’s someone here already!"

I was pleased with Rich’s first comment as we arrived at the beach as I’d kept it quiet that Saddell Bay not only had a castle and a beautiful beach but also an Antony Gormley art installation.

With a chuckle, I told him to look again!

We’ve had a fabulous last day of mainly sunshine, some showers and some stunning rainbows. We ended the afternoon sitting in the greenhouse watching Arran, our mini island and plenty of visiting seabirds... possibly a black guillemot, a normal guillemot and one of the divers - all pretty hard to ID in their winter colours. The seal, however, was a dead cert!

We’ve also enjoyed going back through my blips of memories from all of our New Year Scottish trips - one of the beauties of Blipfoto.
