WendsWanders

By WendsWanders

I met up with a friend today, to have a walk in the City.  We take it in turns to pick one and today was my choice. It was from Liverpool St to Bank but via a very circuitous route. Took loads of photographs, but the one I have chosen is St Dunstan in the East. It was severely damaged in the Great Fire, and then had various repairs and additions, before being almost completely destroyed in the Blitz of 1941, with just the walls and the tower remaining. The ruins are a now a public garden.
The extra Is another church tucked away in front of The Gherkin.
