Jack In The Bulrushes

Jack Heron is no more in the bulrushes than Moses was.

Jack is amongst reedmace, erroneously known as bulrushes in the UK.

Moses was found amongst a sedge called Cyperus, not bulrushes. I used to grow and sell Cyperus as an ornamental garden plant. It has naturalised in the disused car park of our former plant centre.
