D succeeded in actually seeing a waxwing this morning, but by the time I got to the appointed tree they'd gone. I did hear one trilling, however...

Popped over to the market then went up to get the train to Dunfermline. Hmm, another undistinguished performance, going down 0-1 to Ayr in a light drizzle.

Nice to get a glimpse of Incholm and the abbey on our way across - tried to identify the ship later on AIS but couldn't find it at all.
