Life on the Good Intent

Just About at the Limit?

I spent more time today, looking after my plants. I decided I really needed some small terracotta pots, so a wee trip to the garden centre. I bought this mini plant - labelled Monstera obliqua I didn't doubt that. However when I got home I consulted Dr Google re care of the new baby, it turns out that M. obliqua is, in fact, extremely rare and only available at a very high price from a handful of specialist growers. It is likely that mine is M. adansonii. I'm not that bothered, just looking forward to seeing if I can bring the wee tot on.
The extra picture is the Calathea (maybe C. picturata ) that I also fell for.......hence the title of this blip, really don't have the space for any more!
