First crop of apples

My column apple was planted in late June/early July and I'm pleased with the first crop of apples. Ripening fruit is another exciting first in my garden.

Like most things tending the fruit trees is a process of trial and error. They appear to appreciate regular doses of seaweed. So far so good.

I was a step closer to my usual work groove today. Good, good.
