Doing a Doorway

We now have a doorway (but no door fitted as yet) on the other side of the building, never sure if it's the front or the back, but it's what you see from the gate. It will give access from the caravan, but also make unloading the car easier. Have put extras of the progression, and another showing that side from the outside; every opening in it has been made by Mike, the smallest one, with the red shutter, is the one beside my bed, shown in the final extra, for those interested. (Will remove later, don't want to use up all my extras in the first month!)

Woke up to a misty morning, so beautiful. And to a streaming cold, which I've been fighting, but got me in the end. Felt achy and chesty all day, hope it goes away quickly.

- reading our gift from Roger and Angela, The Lion's World, about Narnia, by Rowan Williams. Superb. Showing how CS Lewis's extraordinarily imaginative mind was able to "rinse out what was stale in our thinking about Christianity"
- being able to stay indoors in the warmth, down to 2C tonight
