Time to go home - a sign !

This is a back blip from yesterday as we are now safely back home in Scotland after spending a wonderful 2 weeks and a bit more in Texas with family.

Yesterday was a beautiful sunny day inTexas, we were leaving for home in the late afternoon and when I went outside first thing and looked up in the blue sky 2 aeroplanes had obviously crossed forming a white cross . Was it a sign of the Saltire or St Andrews Cross - the flag of Scotland ?  ( not just the badge of the SNP but I won’t get into politics!!) it seemed like that to me and we were ready to go home.

It was a beautiful day - around 80 F at times and after a  pleasant overnight flight to London that knocked a good bit off the normal flight time we flew back to Edinburgh this afternoon. Oh dear ! Gales and rain although not too cold and I was most impressed at the way the pilot landed in these gusty winds !
