Painting with Light

A mundane working day but a good evening playing with light painting at the camera club. Everyone seemed to come with either light sources or plenty of enthusiasm. There were lots of cool and creative images on the back of cameras, a great way to get members to shoot in manual mode.

I had some fun playing with my new "toy", an LED light painting stick - although I do appreciate now you need a bit of a vision in advance to get the best from it. This was the only shot I'd really thought about before tonight, I pre visualised the result so knew when I'd nailed it (and actually made this one in an empty car park after everyone else had gone home!!).
