Creature from the deep black forest....

Another highly cropped long distance shot but I so rarely see a bird this magnificent so..... Two snaps and it took off flying away from me... I stopped be a local playground to snap the other two "bird" photos... It seemed all the little birds were in hiding today... 

Weather is starting to get interesting around here.. They say cold weather next week and multiple chances for dustings of snow. Nobody  seem to be able to drive in the rain anymore let alone a sliver of ice.. Things will likely get interesting around here.

Sleeping in the truck tomorrow with a 14 hour plus day planned.
