A 2nd Chance

Sad day

It started all exciting with last week's dog getting ready to go the vets and then going home tomorrow!
But then the phone rang. The people who wanted to adopt her changed their mind ... so back to her pen she went ...

And this little fella here was supposed to come home with me to get a nice groom today. The shelter took him off the pound's death row where nobody had claimed him. So off to vets he went to get vaccinated and health checked before his make-over.
But then the vet's health check results came. Apart from an ear infection and one blind eye he has major underlying health issues. The vets gave him a life expectancy of 1 year ... so back to the pound he went ...
