Thank You, Santas!

The day had come when we had to gather the Santas from all over the house, say thank you for this Christmas, you’ve been great and a few other things, have a photo shoot and then put them back in their bags and boxes. I love our Santas! Some are very new and some are very old.The big goats didn’t fit on the table. But the tree will still be up, until the twentieth Day of Knut which is Monday. And the steplights in the windows.

So about yesterday’s mystery. It is a weighted blanket! See extras. Actually, it’s more like a duvet. It has 352 small steel rings sewn into it and weighs 8 kilos! Mum is supposed to use it at night to sleep better. There are two main issues for a small black poodle. One: sleeping on top of these rings is not very comfortable. Two: I’m not allowed under this duvet, which is my favourite place to sleep, because mum says it’s too heavy. We will have to find solutions.

I’m all for anything that can help mum sleep better, so I’m willing to try. Just glad it’s not one of those snoring CPAP machines....
