Summer in January

We like to escape to sunny climes in January. We don’t usually manage quite as far as Singapore. Here for a couple of days en route for NZ.
Good to have a chance to acclimatise. My body doesn’t take well to long haul. We were very grateful for an early check in. I worked out that this was at 3 am uk time so it was no wonder.
This is Chijmes a formed orphanage/convent/girl’s school. Just a hop and a step from our hotel and just over the road from Raffles. Might pop in there for a quick one tomorrow. I wonder if they do a happy hour.
