Winter Speedwell

Veronica Persica as it is called formally. I'm starting to learn the different wildflowers in the area. These tiny little blossoms were just about drowning in the mud along the edge of the fields.

I'm also learning Japanese, in preparation for our trip later this year. Starting with memorising hiragana and katakana characters, so I can read the textbook when I start my evening class in a couple of weeks. Fun.
