weeping...

...white

back in the day - where i grew up - there were these huge trees - called ‘weeping willows’ - during the summer months - they became full, green - lush and beautiful creating a - type of canopy with their - great branches and the way - they hung out from the trunk - of the tree - it provided wonderful shade - as well as a fabulous hiding - place to escape from - well, anything you needed - to escape from

seeing this slightly withering - white flower now beginning - to show signs of - reaching its time - starting to droop and all - reminded me of those - great willow trees - their magnificent stature - how proud they stood - in a field by themselves - and if you ducked - under their branches - how very secure you could feel - funny how the vision - of one little flower - can transport you back - to a childhood memory - thereby making it...

a

happy day.....
