The art of flying

Really gusty and windy this morning when I went out with Jonty. The gulls were really enjoying it, whirling and diving. They do seem to thoroughly enjoy flight. No wonder they inspired Reginal J Mitchell in the design of the Supermarine Spitfire, or so the film would have us believe but I don't think it was as straightforward as that!

Included Jonty as an extra. After his troubled night a couple of days ago he has settled down and is back to being his old self.
