Greening Up

This entire valley was charred by the 1,700-acre Easy Fire October 31. It threatened the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library at the top of the hill in the center of the shot.  Flames lapped the brush just outside the 125,000-square-foot facility, where Reagan’s Air Force One plane is perched behind glass.
As winds gusted to 60 mph, helicopters and “super scooper” aircraft dropped thousands of gallon of water over the land in a precarious attempt to contain the fire’s spread.

Now, thanks to some recent rain and the California sun the entire area is beginning to green up.
