A Special Day

...starting with the preparations for my colonoscopy screening (the extra shows the waiting room, lying on a stretcher), all went well. Then I received this letter, written on an old fashioned typewriter, in the old spelling which I prefer too, and I cling to it in my office as I’m not an official person. The German letter ß, in the new spelling often replaced by ss, to be seen in the centre, I very much love it. A book filled with hundreds of ß printed in different fonts: one of my follies!
