Let Veganuary begin!

Partly for waist slimming and also to make us be creative in the kitchen. We only decided to embark on our vegan journey at Twixmas (that's the weird bit in between Christmas and New year) so got off to a staggered start with eating up some of the perishable dairy food in the fridge. We then got on with writing a list of food based meal ideas and working out what we'd need alternatives for. Oyster sauce and fish sauce unsure of so far.

Conclusions a few days in:
-Oat 'milk' is lovely, soya is yucky and sweetened almond is alright but not as good as oat, which also wins on water consumption and air miles, woop!
-this soy yoghurt is alright, wouldn't buy it again, too sweet and a bit of a weird after taste
-vegan olive spread tastes the same as the normal one
