A circle closes

My niece, Sarah is transferring Nora to a new daycare/preschool, closer to home at the end of January. Baby Hunter will go there in the fall as well. The wonderful thing for our family is that in a previous life the building was as a public school. A public school where my mother had her first teaching job after graduating from Wheelock College in 1943. She taught there until I was born. The photo of my mother is from a school picture day while she taught there. She must be smiling today from above, I know we all are.

The owner of the daycare/preschool is married to carpenter who rehabs old buildings, he left many of the wonderful old features of the building, the great woodwork and replace the large windows with new ones the same size. Nora loved it and cried when it was time to leave.

For the Record,
This day came in cloudy and warmer. Our friend from Vermont is arriving early evening  for our Camp Kiwanee gang get together tomorrow.

All hands looking forward to being together with good friends.
