Restoration

One of the more satisfying and meaningful tasks that followed me into the new year was the restoration of this little wire angel. She was made by me a few years ago for my Sister, Mary's birthday, meant to represent Mary's love for birds and for painting. Perhaps also epitomizing the freedom aspired to through making art. I completed the re-enforcing of her delicate structure on Jan 6th, Epiphany, which had been our beloved mother's birthday. A perfect day for renewing the gift of love...
