No need for a car wash today ......

...... the falling rain washed the roof and windows, driving through the flooded areas cleaned the sills and wheels.  It has been an appalling day. The high winds subsided by mid morning but the rain has fallen relentlessly but not always with the same intensity.

When you have only two tea bags left a trip to the supermarket is a journey that has to be taken!  

The days are supposed to be getting longer .... not today ....its been dark since before 4 o'clock.
