Snow capped Slioch

My plans to search out the sun in the west at early o'clock were scuppered by having to take Arran to get his finger x-rayed. It turns out he has 'Mallet finger' as the result of a fracture. He is in a splint for 6-8 week so no basketball or mtbing for him for a while. A bit later than planned I made it to one of my favourite places in the world-Loch Maree. I had about an hour and a half in the sun before it clouded over. It was bitterly cold out, mostly due to the gale wind chill.I would probably have ended up with frostbite if I'd hung around taking more photos anyway so I headed home to get warm.
