Surfacing ........

A brief interval of wakefulness for Percy today. Douggie has lurched from sofa to food bowl and back to the sofa. It has been dark, damp and dismal.

TM and I spent a little time preparing to paint our bedroom - or rather, one wall of our bedroom. This meant moving the bed. Underneath we found a slipper. How long has it been there ..... ? TM circulated a picture round the family WhatsApp and no-one recognised it. So he said he'd give it to Raf to play with when he visits this summer. Swift reply from Mag to the effect that we're not to train his dog to chew slippers.

So it has been an indoors day. Now I'm exercising vicariously by watching Julia Bradbury yomping over the ash fields of Iceland - absolutely amazing scenery.
