Male Deer

Our dining room overlooks the paddock at the back of our house and it is surprising just how often when we have guests (our friends John & Joan were over for lunch) that the deer family turn up and wander about in the paddock. It was doubly satisfying today as there was really nice afternoon sunlight which  meant that not only could we see the deer more clearly but the sunlight cast a nice yellow glow on the  paddock which in overcast weather looks rather scrubby.
