Church of Nature

This is Cheesequake State Park. I couldn’t make up that name. I have no idea how it came to be. We walked almost 5 miles with some elevation change, unusual for the flatlands of New Jersey. It was a lovely spring-like day in January—temperature was 68 degrees—very lovely but strangely warm. I was glad we had a local hiker who was familiar with the trails lead us. I often do the leading in places I am unfamiliar with because no one else wants to lead. I don’t care if I get lost. Anyway, fun times, good people, nice weather.
