They are a nuisance!

Dear Diary,

Every late fall the Asian beetles, close cousins to the Ladybug, decide that my house would be a good place to winter.  This year they have been particularly abundant.  Although harmless, they can become a nuisance and this winter I have been gathering them by the dozen and sending them flying.  Here is one of the spotted pests exploring my rings.  They get in through impossibly narrow cracks around doors and windows.  Sigh, just another thing one deals with in an old house in the country.
