National Rubber Ducky Day

Today is National Rubber Ducky Day and so only fitting to post a photo of Kent’s rubber duckies as they sit on his windowsill.

He originally bought the blue duck and another one so that he could keep one at each of the two power plants he works at. They are for measuring the water flow speed when modern technology fails.

I didn’t want his blue duck to be lonely as it sat on his windowsill and so I’ve been adding to his collection! Our recent trip to Scotland found a puffin, Loch Ness monster and thistle duck joining the collection.

Today is overcast, humid and warm. More like April weather than January.

As long as the rain holds off, think I will sit outside and read awhile.
