Galanthus

I’ve seen a few patches of snowdrops around lately, including these (part of a much larger group) alongside the road where the entry to the park is. The ones on our estate that I usually blip have only just started to flower in a couple of cases.

The green coloured stem of the snowdrop symbolises and links with the Pagan ideals of health and wellbeing, while the white symbolises the light of the winter sun which is now beginning to grow stronger as the days lengthen. It’s a bit wild out there tonight...hope the snowdrops are still there in the morning!
