Yellow weather warning

Today in the UK there were yellow weather warning of strong winds and heavy rain, caused by Storm Brenan.  Zeus09smum and I managed to avoid its arrival on our shopping trip this morning but even as we arrived home the wind had started to get up. 
 This evening The Son accompanied me when I went to pick up Violet from her after school childminder and it was he who actually took this phone shot for me  as I was driving.  The situation around our way is not helped by  a number of roadworks and even one road closure, with not a workman in sight at any of them.  Thinking of the disastrous situation in parts of Australia, I don't think that I really have too much to complain about though.
