One Street #5

We did finally get some snow at about 2pm, but life went on as normal, which is as it should be. We're looking forward to having a chance to play in it tomorrow. Sledges are at the ready.

Here I'm back on my One Street as the snow is starting to fall. This view is looking back down the Great Horton Road toward the city centre.

The distinctive building is the Gothic revival former Congregational Schools, now Ali Baba carpets, designed by Paul and Robinson of Manchester and built in 1868. I'm sure I'll blip more of this building in the future - it has a very distinctive Star of David carving over the main entrance.
