Meet the Neighbors

Dear Diary,

There aren't any "serious" farms around me, just people who keep a few chickens or a couple of cows and, of course, horses.  I stopped at one such place to say "Hi!" to a few neighbors.  The beefy pair were sitting contentedly chewing their cud in the sun and the handsome fellow on the right was strutting his stuff and didn't mind stopping for a bit to pose.  I do love photographing animals.  Unfortunately, there aren't any on my back porch this winter and it is quite a puzzle.  I've been going through old files on my 2005 trip to the Outer Hebrides to make a photobook and it is amazing how many cow and horse photos I made!  Now, I make critters in wool.  Billy Bob should have his big reveal this week end!
