Lawnmower knot

Gave the grass its first cut of the year today - and this is what happened when I ran over one of the leaves of my phormium plant (or New Zealand flax as its more commonly known) that had flopped across the lawn. I should have moved it out of the way before I began, but I am too lazy and this was the result. As it got caught in the rotary blade, it ended up as quite a knot - and the sound of the lawnmower wasn't too clever either!
