Wide Angle Wednesday

Back to the country to find this wide angle shot of a wooden railroad trestle. I had heard it was the biggest wooden railroad trestle in the USA that is still in use......but when I googled that, I am not positive that is correct. But it is indeed very tall and long. Seems like it worked for today's theme for Wide Wednesday.

Tonight we took dinner over to our friends; the husband had surgery Monday. We were amazed how well he is doing; he has Parkinson's Disease and the procedure put stimulators in his brain to help with some of his motor skills. Friday the generator will be implanted and the probes will be hooked up. Wow.....it sounds scary, but he researched it for years and the surgeon here in Portland is supposed to be one of the best. I sure hope the results are worth the effort.....and pain.
