Translation paper: French

It's interesting to see the standard of work that was expected of a Cambridge University candidate in 1932. Here is the French translation paper that Lorna tackled en route to her place to read English at Girton.

We've done a little bit of poking around online and found that the passage is an extract from Les Morts qui Parlent (Scènes de la Vie Parlementaire) by Marie-Eugène-Melchior, vicomte de Vogüé, published in 1899. There is a full text of the work available online and more about the author on Wikipedia.
