Another pic of how Mother Nature works

After a few pictures of the effect Mother Nature can have on our sea defences and coast line I popped along the Pagham Seafront where the houses were originally railway carriages put there after the war. People would use them as holiday places. Apparently the ones near the beach were on rails and could be pulled back from the sea. Slowly they became residential and people have lived in them now all year round. The next stage was to literally build a brick built structure around the property and then pull them down. Today few carriages exist (see centre of the picture) but you can see some with 1st class or no smoking etched into the windows. Now the site is under serious threat of erosion and some properties (as seen in the pic) are only yards from the harbour edge.
