The start of a busy day

Lots to do today, but at least we have the campervan back fro the garage so we no longer have to rely on the kindness of neighbours for lifts.

First stop the opticians, Mike to collect his new specs and me for an eye test. Working with H in the afternoon. She got blown over in the horrendous gales yesterday, so was a tad below par today. We got through a lot of jobs as well as riding four of the ponies. None of the girls had been coming to ride because of the weather, so they needed exercising. 

Mike came and collected me and watched Nimbus and me going over a few jumps and having a bit of a race round. The first time Mike's seen me on a horse, after more than eleven years together!

Home and packed up the van, ready for the off tomorrow, gales and ferries permitting.
